Val Hague was born and raised in the small West Texas town of Fort Stockton. Her parents brought her up in the beautiful surroundings of Sanderson and the Big Bend country. Working mainly with acrylic and mixed media, she paints the things most important to her from her upbringing of ranch life and the abundant West Texas wildlife. Bright colors and heavy lines are present in most of her art!
