Fifteen years ago, fate led me to Round & Gillis, long before it became RBR Interiors. A call from one of Richard's employees, who was contemplating retirement, inadvertently opened the door to my dream job. From that moment, my role extended beyond a mere position; it became a pivotal partnership that evolved over time.
Richard’s reliance on me grew exponentially as I became his go-to for purchasing, fabric selection, trims, and even carpet and wallpaper choices. But what truly resonated was understanding that Round & Gillis was more than a business—it was a sanctuary where clients were regarded as friends and family. Richard's mission was to create timeless homes.
Our plans for me to take over Round & Gillis took shape amidst discussions in 2022 and 2023. However, life threw an unexpected curveball when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Temporarily pausing our aspirations, I underwent treatment and, fortunately, regained my health, returning to work in August.
Tragically, on October 5, 2023, Richard passed away unexpectedly. Despite the heartbreaking loss, I made the unwavering decision to honor his legacy by forging ahead with our plan. Thus, RBR Interiors was born—a tribute to Richard and a canvas for me to blend his wisdom with my own innovative twist. My goal remains unchanged: to perpetuate his legacy by crafting traditional, timeless, and functional homes.

Born and raised in the heart of San Angelo, Texas, my journey has been woven with diverse experiences that shaped who I am today. Graduating with a BBA in Marketing from Angelo State University opened doors to a world where I found my passion for textiles and interior design through courses that sparked a lifelong love affair with the art of crafting beautiful spaces.
My professional path has been diverse, leading me through various industries. From being Executive Director for the San Angelo Symphony to navigating the realm of pharmaceutical sales with Eli Lilly, each chapter added layers to my understanding of business dynamics. A detour into real estate with ERA Newlin & Company in 2008 brought forth a parallel journey, and to this day, I'm still engaged in residential property sales in San Angelo.
Fifteen years ago, an opportunity emerged when I joined forces with Richard Round of Round & Gillis. Little did I know that this juncture would become the cornerstone of my career—a partnership where I not only honed my skills but also discovered my penchant for seamlessly blending the old and the new. Richard became a mentor, a guide through the intricate world of interior design, and a friend whose influence continues to resonate profoundly within RBR Interiors and the entire San Angelo community. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had Richard as a mentor; his irreplaceable guidance holds a special place in my heart, shaping not just my career but my very approach to this craft.
My personal life revolves around the joys of family. Married to Brad Fly for now 21 years, we share a beautiful journey accompanied by our three children: Abbie, our son-in-law Weston, Amory, currently thriving at TCU, and our youngest, Kemper, a vibrant 14-year-old. The rhythm of our family life is underscored by the love for our community. Volunteering has been a constant thread, whether it's coaching volleyball and basketball or actively participating in organizations such as the San Angelo Symphony Guild, Fort Concho PTO, and Glenn Middle School PTO. Our ties extend to First Methodist Church of San Angelo, where we find solace and community.
My passion for antiques and textiles is more than an interest—it's a fervor. It's the art of making spaces not just beautiful but also functional that ignites my creativity. The blend of old-world charm with contemporary aesthetics fuels my love for creating homes that embody warmth and timelessness all while keeping Richard’s teachings in mind. Beyond the world of design, I find solace in culinary arts, relishing moments spent cooking for my family and friends. Curling up with a cookbook and marking recipes for future experiments brings me joy, adding a flavorful dimension to life.
At the core of it all, my journey is a tapestry woven with threads of passion for homes, community, family, and the intricate art of creating one-of-a-kind spaces.
